PUTRAJAYA: The 2018 Royal Floria Putrajaya festival has attracted more than 30,000 visitors in the past four days.
Putrajaya Floria Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Haslinda Khalid said the number of vistors expected to increase further especially on Aug 31 when Malaysia celebrates its National day here in the administrative capital.
Nonetheless, she said, the number of visitors was not the main priority as compared to ensuring that Floria visitors would have a memorable and satifactory visit.
“Each year we make improvements so that visitors will feel that the money spent for the Floria entry ticket is worth it, which is not as expensive as in other countries.

“We also have activities suitable for everyone. Visitors can spend the whole day at the festival site which has various facilities including eateries, play area, surau and attractive offers for rides on the Putrajaya Cruise,” she said.
The 2018 Royal Floria Putrajaya festival which started on Aug 25 and ends on Sept 2 is held at Anjung Floria here at Presint 4.
The highlights this year include the Royal Garden, Designer Garden, “The Magic of Bonsai & Suiseki“, Terrarium “Tropical Magic in the Glass” and the Musical Garden, Tea Party Garden, Cat Pavilion, Floral pavilion as well as Garden Bazaar and Horticulture Market.

This year’s exhibition sees the participation of nine countries including Singapore, Japan, China, Germany and Korea.
The Royal Floria Putrajaya is open to the public from 9am to 10.30pm.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the opening hours are extended from 9am to midnight.
