The Russell Howard Hour confirms series 4 return date

The Russell Howard Hour has confirmed its return, and the air date is pretty soon.

The fourth series of the comedy news show will premiere at 10pm on Thursday, September 10 on Sky One and NOW TV.

Since its conception, The Russell Howard Hour has amassed over 400 million views on social media and previous guests on the series have included Jim Carrey, Ed Sheeran, Tan France, Jack Black, Louis Theroux and Alesha Dixon.

In the new series, Russell will once again conduct in-depth interviews with guests both in studio and via a satellite link amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The new series will feature the return of fan-favourite segments such as Good Deeds, which champions the nation's spirit of generosity.

It will also include live performances from comedians and musicians, as well as a new strand called Life Lessons, which will see Russell joined by famous faces to help him tackle some of life's toughest questions head on.

Every episode will also be available to watch worldwide on Russell's YouTube channel.

Ahead of The Russell Howard Hour returning next month, the comedian has been keeping audiences entertained during lockdown by presenting Russell Howard's Home Time from his childhood bedroom.

He's also been spotted necking cider on morning television during a chat with Lorraine Kelly, but as things stand, it's hard to blame him.
