One man was killed and another injured after Russian forces shelled Kherson from the temporarily occupied left bank on May 20, Kherson City Military Administration head, Roman Mrochko, reported on Telegram.

One man was fatally wounded, and a 72-year-old man was taken to hospital with a mine explosion injury.

Kherson's Dniprovskiy district came under attack, he said.

The Russians attacked one of the city's businesses, regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin added.

Kherson and Kherson Oblast are attacked by Russian occupiers every day.

At least 21 people were injured after the Russian army carried out an airstrike on Kherson's city center on May 15,

Residential buildings and a school were also damaged in the attack.
