Russia promises retaliation after Poland places restrictions on its diplomats for 'waging a hybrid war against the EU'

Russia has vowed to "take measures" in response to Poland's decision to restrict the movement of Russian diplomats within the country, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Maria Zakharova, told Russian propagandist media RBC.

"Details are still unknown," she said.

"A note from the Polish Foreign Ministry with the specifics of the decision has been announced.”

“Once we receive it, we will study it," she said.

"We will take retaliatory measures to ensure that the Polish leadership, drowning in Russophobia, deeply regrets its latest anti-Russian actions."

The announcement follows Poland's decision to limit the movement of Russian diplomats within its borders, citing Russia's ongoing hybrid warfare against the European Union.

The restrictions will affect both the Russian Embassy and consular staff in Poland, Polish Foreign Minister, Radosław Sikorski, said.
