The Russians construct barriers in Crimea in an attempt to hide air defense systems — Atesh

Russian troops have begun constructing barriers in occupied Crimea to hide their air defense systems, the military partisan movement Atesh reported on June 5.

The Moscow-appointed occupation authorities started constructing protective road screens along highways in an attempt to conceal these systems from locals.

Atesh ties these measures to successful Ukrainian Armed Forces strikes on Russian targets in Crimea.

“This resulted not only from Ukrainian forces' efforts but also of Crimean residents who actively shared information about the Russian military equipment locations,” the partisans said.

The Russians plan to build numerous barrier structures on the peninsula's roads in the near future, the movement added.

Russian air defense systems being moved towards the Crimean Bridge, likely to protect it from potential strikes were reported earlier.
