And Just Like That, the Sex and the City reboot was one of the most eagerly anticipated TV shows of the last year and every episode spawned hours of discussion, so it's no surprise it was confirmed back in March that there was a second season on the way. But six months later we still don't know too much of what to expect, other than the return of a pretty iconic SATC character that wasn't in season one... the loveable Aiden Shaw, played by John Corbett.
Teasing our curious and impatient minds even more, Sarah Jessica Parker has made it clear that work is well underway and she already has her script for episode one.
Posting a snap of the title page of the script to Instagram, with the episode name scribbled over, the star wrote; "Just this much. For now. X, SJ"
Back when season 2 was confirmed SJ also took to Instagram to announce the news with a cast photo, thanking viewers for their loyalty, writing; "Season 2. Thank you to our audience. Plain and simple. You are our heartbeat. We love you so.
It's not a surprise that they're full steam ahead, with Sarah telling Variety in February hat discussions were already being had.
"Definitely, yeah. Michael [Patrick King, creator] and I spoke two weeks ago, and said: 'OK, when are we going to talk about this? Because there's a calendar and you don't want to let too much time pass. [It] feels like there's momentum," she said.
We completely agree! Season 2 asap please!
