Sarah Lahbati would love to play villainess in "Darna"
27 Apr - Actress Sarah Lahbati recently denied rumours saying that she has been confirmed to play the villainess in the upcoming female superhero movie, "Darna".
As reported on ABS-CBN News, the actress, who was rumoured to play Darna's number one enemy, the snake goddess Valentina, stated that she has no idea about her casting, since she hasn't heard anything about it from Viva management.
However, Lahbati stated that if it was the case, she would love to play Valentina.
"I really hope [it's true]. If it's for me, it's for me. It's just talks, though. I caught "Darna" before, so I'm kinda familiar [with it]," she said.
Stars who has played the role before include Alessandra De Rossi, Celia Rodriguez, Cherie Gil, and Iwa Moto.
On the other hand, Lahbati said that she is currently on a break to spend more time with her family, which is why she has been travelling a lot with partner, Richard Gutierrez and their son, Zion.
