Sarnia man wanted for string of break and enters arrested after evading capture twice

A man wanted for several break and enters in a southwestern Ontario city has finally been arrested.

Police in Sarnia say he had avoided capture on two separate occasions before being caught late Wednesday night.

According to authorities, the 37-year-old Sarnia man was arrested after being tipped off he was at a Maxwell Street home.

Police say he was eventually found hiding in the attic.

He's charged with eight counts of break and enter, two counts of mischief and theft under $5,000.
