Sartori moves from Berluti to Zegna
With design head Stefano Pilati leaving Ermenegildo Zegna Couture, Alessandro Sartori is completing his move to a newly created position of Artistic Director.
Sartori's departure from bootmaker and fashion label Berluti was announced on Monday, with Zegna and Pilati confirming their parting of ways on Wednesday.
Come Friday February 5, Zegna made known its agreement with Sartori, who will start work in June 2016, making Autumn / Winter 2017 his first full season at the Milanese house, fashion publication Business of Fashion (BoF) reported.
Sartori returns to Zegna having been part of Z Zegna between 2003 and 2011 before teaming up with Berluti for its first forays into ready-to-wear.
