‘Saturday Night Live’ #TBT: Dwayne Johnson Is Franchise Viagra

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson can do it all: act, sing, dance, wrestle… hell, the guy could run for president and would probably win (a recent poll shows he’d beat Donald Trump!). But his greatest skill is being franchise Viagra.

Johnson is hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend, and with this gig, he joins the Five-Timers Club (on the heels of Melissa McCarthy, who joined the exclusive circle last week). He’s been part of many memorable sketches over the years, like “The Rock Obama” and the turbo-charged Disney trailer for “Bambi.”

In his monologue from his most recent SNL hosting gig, Johnson sings (and shimmies a little) about how joining the cast of various franchises has helped their success — including G.I. Joe, The Mummy, and The Fast & Furious films.

And why stop there? Put him in Frozen, Home Alone, even Zero Dark Thirty!

“If you’re looking for that extra special something, you want to make sure the box office is thumping,” he belts out. “Need the baddest mofo since Charles Bronson? Add a dash of Dwayne and a pinch of Johnson!”

Watch Johnson host with musical guest Katy Perry this Saturday at 11:30 p.m. on NBC.
