‘Saturday Night Live’ #TBT: Kate McKinnon’s a Belieber

Kate McKinnon has become the rock of Saturday Night Live, thanks to her fantastic impression of Hillary Clinton last year. She’s quickly becoming a major movie star, too, and this weekend stars in Rough Night with Scarlett Johansson.

McKinnon has been in so many memorable sketches over the past five years — “Close Encounter” is a riot — but she really started getting everyone’s attention with her absolutely perfect take on singer Justin Bieber in faux Calvin Klein ads.

Sporting his trademark tufted hair and multiple tattoos — and a bit of peach fuzz on the upper lip — McKinnon declares, “I’m a big boy now.”

As Bieber, she proceeds to bash away at drums, leer over Cecily Strong’s model, do fake push-ups, comb his nonexistent beard, ride on a scooter, and sip juice boxes.

“This tattoo? Made me say ‘owee,’” Bieber whispers.

Yeah, totally a big boy.

SNL returns for its 43rd season this fall.
