Saudi needs 1,000 muslim nurses

BUTUAN CITY - The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) urgently needs 1,000 Muslim staff nurses, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) announced yesterday.

The POEA is now accepting applications for the deployment to the Ministry of Health-Hospital Operation Program (MOH-HOP) of the KSA.

The POEA press statement said that under its Government Placement Branch (GPB), all its POEA offices nationwide has posted the KSA's MOH-HOP needs for qualified Muslim female applicants, not more than 40 years of age, who will be assigned to the various hospitals in Makkah region.

The POEA statement said the applicants must be graduates of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or with Masteral Degree, and with Board License or Prometric Exam passer/with Saudi Council Certificate.

Applicants who are BSN graduates must have four years minimum work experience, while those with Masters Degree must have two years experience, said the POEA.

The POEA said the staff nurse position is with a basic salary of 4,080 Saudi Riyal.

POEA advised applicants to submit a detailed resume with job description, school credentials, employment certificates, passport copy and two pieces 2x2 pictures to any POEA office, particularly at the Manpower Registry Division, Window T, ground floor, Blas F. Ople Bldg., Ortigas Ave. corner EDSA, Mandaluyong City.

Qualified applicants could also register online at www.poea.gov.ph or www.eregister.poea.gov.ph. POEA sets a deadline of submission on April 7, 2013, or until further notice, the POEA press statement added. (MIKE U. CRISMUNDO)
