School fees for PRs, international students to go up each year for next 3 years: MOE
School fees for Singapore permanent residents (PRs) and international students will go up for those in government and government-aided schools each year for three years, from 2018 to 2020, said the Ministry of Education (MOE) on Tuesday (17 October).
The monthly fees will increase by between S$25 and S$60 each year for PR students, and by S$25 to S$150 per month for international students, said a release on the MOE website. The revised fees will take effect from January each year.
There are no plans to adjust fees for Singapore citizen students in government and government-aided schools, added the ministry. These students currently do not pay monthly school fees for Primary School, and pay S$5 and S$6 for secondary school and pre-university, respectively.
