KANGAR: The Perlis Education Department, particularly school administrators in the state have been urged to help students plan their time better to prepare the next generation of leaders competent in all aspects.
The Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail said this was because effective time management could accelerate the process of producing holistic human capital.
“Students are an important source of the country’s future. Therefore, they need to be taught and trained to always strive for excellence, including communication skills, as well as adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.
“Besides giving emphasis to the curriculum, students also need to be nurtured to discipline themselves to manage time more effectively,” he said when officiating the 2017 ‘Titian Kasih Negara’ programme at SMK Derma here today.
Raja Puan Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Hajah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil was also present.
The programme was organided by Yayasan Tuanku Syed Putra, in collaboration with the state education departnment.-- BERNAMA
