Hello again, esports fans! This week, we take a look at some of the rising stars and top contenders in the MOBA circuit in Asia.

Phong Vu Buffalo (League of Legends)

Vietnam’s very own Riot-sanctioned VCS Spring Playoff finals previously ended with a thunderous climax as Phong Vu Buffalo won their spot to play internationally at this year’s Mid-Season Invitational League of Legends tournament.

The team won 13-1 in its round robin fights against the likes of EVOS Esports, Sky Gaming, and Friends Forever Gaming. Southeast Asian fans can expect them to bring their A-game in 2019 Mid-Seasonal Invitational tournament this May at Vietnam and Taiwan.

SKT (League of Legends)

The legendary South Korean team of LoL are back in top form. The team recently won the LCK Spring 2019 tournament, beating top teams like Griffin and KING-ZONE DragonX. They too have cemented their spot in the upcoming 2019 Mid-Seasonal Invitational tournament this May.

Talon Esports, Nova Monster Shield (Overwatch)

The Overwatch Contenders 2019 Season 1: Asia Pacific tournament is still underway, with Talon Esports and Nova Monster Shield currently placing 1st and 2nd place respectively in the round robin tournament so far. Both teams won 6 of their matches.

RRQ and Victim Reality (PUBG), PG.Barracx and PG.Orca (Dota 2)

The Sin Esports PUBG league is still ongoing, but we finally have our Indonesian representatives. Teams RRQ and Victim Reality will be proceeding to the regional finals.

On the Dota 2 side, teams PG.Orca and PG.Barracx will be qualifying for the regional finals as well.
