Greetings again, eSports fans! It was a weekend of fighting game players to watch for, as well as an MLBB (Mobile Legends: Bang Bang) team that is currently taking the spotlight.

Muhamed Meguseyf (SoulCalibur 6)

Singapore’s SoulCalibur duo may want to keep an eye on this sleeper champion. A former veteran in 3D fighting games back in the day, Muhamed Meguseyf brought home the gold in the FV Cup x SEA Major 2019 thanks to his deft use of series newcomer Grøh.

His bout against Singapore’s Sia Will.is as Maxi is a match to behold, as both characters have to go all-out with their offense.

Talon|HotDog29 (Street Fighter V)

One of Hong Kong’s rising stars managed to secure third place against the tournament’s Japanese onslaught.

His M.Bison play managed to make multiple comebacks against top tier players like Itabashi via Crush Counter reads, followed up with combos and mixups aplenty.

Fujimaru, Tokido, (Street Fighter V)

Trust Japan to take up the majority of the top 8 and showing their supremacy once again against Singapore and Malaysia players. Fujimaru and Tokido are your respective top two players of the FV Cup X SEA Major 2019 tournament.

Both players were at their last fight of the night after Fujimura reset the bracket. It was only a matter of time until Fujimura’s barrage of Ibuki mixups took a toll on Tokido’s methodical play. If there’s anything worse than an Akuma fight, it’s an Akuma fight against an even speedier opponent.

And with that, Fujimura is your FV Cup x SEA Major 2019 Street Fighter V champion.

EVOS SG, NARA SG, Bigetron SG, XPX (MLBB)

We’ve reached the last two weeks of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League MY/SG Season 3 tournament’s regular season fights.

So far, the top two teams leading the 10-group pack are EVOS SG and NARA SG with 14 points each.

Still, we shouldn’t count out the other teams that are creeping in, such as Bigetron SG who beat EVOS SG 2-1 and even Malaysian team XPX (XPAX X-ASSINS) who also took it upon themselves to show the SG team their place.

This proves that EVOS SG is not a team to be trifled with, and is considered a current benchmark for budding teams within the region to topple in the next few weeks.
