A woman’s body was found in the Singapore River near Clarke Quay on Monday (17 April) morning around 3.41 am.

The body was found motionless in the water, according to the police.

The Singapore Civil Defence said officers, upon arrival, retrieved the body of a Chinese woman in her 50s. She was declared dead at scene by paramedics.
