As a die-hard manicure and nail art lover, I’ve sadly learned that when the weather dips, so does the strength of your nails. Like your skin, your tips need hydration to stay strong and healthy.

I like to use cuticle oil at least once a week to help boost growth and prevent bending and cracking, especially during those chilly winter months.

Just a few coats or drops of cuticle oil can add an extra day or two to an Insta-worthy manicure. In some cases, it can even add weeks.

A few days ago, a colleague of mine asked if my nails were real. I proudly said yes, but had to give credit to my beloved $8 cuticle oil.

The Sally Hanssen Vitamin E Nail & Cuticle Oil is formulated with a natural essential oil complex of vitamin E and aloe, and it is a must-have for moisturizing and conditioning cuticles while increasing nail flexibility.

Whether I’m rocking a shellac mani, polish paint or naked nails, I like to push back my cuticles and apply light coats of the oil to my nails and cuticles and gently massage the product in to stimulate circulation and growth.
