PETALING JAYA: Two security guards claimed trial at the sessions court here today to eight charges of committing carnal intercourse against the order of nature with two primary school pupils.

The men – Mokhtaruddin Abdul Manan, 57, and L. Joy Lawrence, 38 – are alleged to have committed all the offences in early Feb against an eight-year-old and a 10-year-old pupil at a school in Petaling Jaya.

The offences are alleged to have taken place at the school's guardhouse and toilets, between 7am and 7.30am.

Deputy public prosecutor Shafiq Hasim did not offer bail.

Both Mokhtarudin and Joy were unrepresented.

Sessions Judge Hilmiah Yusof did not grant bail and fixed April 3 for case mention and for both men to get legal representation.
