Selena Gomez Can't Keep Her Engagement Ring to Herself (and We Can't Blame Her)

Selena Gomez is basking in happiness.

The newly engaged singer and actress, 32, showed off yet another view of her massive diamond ring on her Instagram Stories — and we stan!

In the photo, a smiling Gomez sits outside as she uses her hand — as well as her dazzling marquise-shaped diamond ring — to shield her face from the sunlight. The Emilia Pérez star didn’t add a caption to her upload, but her joy beamed through the single photo.

The "Hands to Myself" singer announced her engagement to her now-fiancé Benny Blanco on Wednesday, Dec. 11.

At the time, the Disney alum posted the sweet news to social media, captioning an Instagram carousel: “forever begins now.”

Her four-photo upload began with a picture of Gomez holding out her hand with the jewelry piece on full display. The slideshow ended with her being cuddled and kissed by the music producer, 36, who was recently named a contender for PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive 2024.

During his interview, he told PEOPLE he learned how to make his own version of Taco Bell’s meat since Gomez was a fan of it.

“Even if you're terrible at cooking, [your partner will] like it because you did it. Ask your partner what they want to eat. Don't try to cook them what you want to eat. If you don't know how to cook it — learn it,” he said.

Her engagement photos included her having a picnic with Taco Bell being served.

A-listers filled her comment section with congratulatory messages.

“Yes I will be the flower girl,” her BFF Taylor Swift wrote.

A surprised Cardi B also commented, "Waiiiitttt hold on 😱😱😱😱😱❤️❤️❤️" as Lily Collins responded, "Ahhhhhhhh yes yes yes!! Best news ever. Couldn’t be more happy for you both ❤️❤️❤️❤️."

Blanco sweetly added, “hey wait… that’s my wife.”

Following their engagement, a source told PEOPLE exclusively that Gomez has been “glowing” ever since.

“They’re so supportive of each other,” the insider added of the two stars, who began dating in December 2023. “He wants the best for her and she wants the best for him. They’re perfect together. They really are.”

A second source told PEOPLE Gomez was genuinely surprised when Blanco popped the question Wednesday.

"It was very her," the insider said. "It was a total surprise to Selena."

After he asked for her hand in marriage, they had an "impromptu gathering" with their closest friends and family to share the great news, the source added of their special day.

"Benny and Selena were so excited to share the news right away with their loved ones," the insider added. "It's such a true partnership between them."
