Shah Alam robbers steal RM650k worth of jewellery – and CCTV cameras


SHAH ALAM: A jewellery outlet at a mall in Section 32, Kota Kemuning here, was robbed of RM650,000 worth of goods by thieves who broke in through the roof during the night.

Shah Alam police chief ACP Shafien Mamat told reporters here that the thieves gained entry through the ceiling and used an oxy-acetylene torch to prise open a safe containing the jewellery in the 3am incident yesterday.

They also ran off with the CCTV cameras installed there, he said.
