The Premier League’s weekend action kicks off with Sheffield United hosting Manchester City at Saturday lunchtime.

City come into the game after a midweek win in Europe, but they have won only one of the last four in the league and must quickly start to make up ground on the teams at the top, as they sit in 13th.

It’s even worse for the Blades, though, with just one point from six games leaving them in the bottom three at this stage.

They have scored just three times so far and Chris Wilder will hope new signing Rhian Brewster can find his scoring touch quickly.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of kick-off.

When is the match?

The game kicks off at 12:30pm GMT on Saturday, 31 October at Bramall Lane.

Where can I watch it?

The match is live on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate. Subscribers can also stream the game via the BT Sport website and app.

What is the team news?

The Blades are still without Lys Mousset and John Fleck, while Jack O’Connell is a long-term absentee. Max Lowe is a doubt, though wouldn’t have started.

Manchester City face a similar number of injuries, with strikers Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero both missing. Fernandinho and Benjamin Mendy are defensive injury worries, while Nathan Ake faces a fitness test.

Predicted line-ups

SHU: Ramsdale; Basham, Egan, Stevens; Baldock, Lundstram, Ampadu, Berge, Osborn; McBurnie, Brewster.

MCI: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo; Rodri, Gundogan, De Bruyne; Mahrez, Sterling, Foden.

Odds

Sheffield United - 9/1

Draw - 5/1

Man City - 6/19

Prediction

The Blades might come out fighting but the likelihood is that they are ground down by a relentless City side, much as they were against Liverpool last time out. Sheffield United 1-2 Manchester City
