Sheree Lo's family wants to hold low-key funeral

31 May - Late actress Sheree Lo (also known as Bonnie Law), will not be having any high-profile funeral, according to her family, who wanted privacy following her recent tragic death.

As reported on Mingpao news, Sheree's uncle, who accompanied the actress' family to identify her body at the Victoria Public Mortuary recently, stated that a low-key funeral will be held at the Hong Kong Funeral Home, although the date of the funeral has yet to be determined.

As for the reason of the funeral delay, he stated that the police have requested an autopsy on the body, and that the family will have to wait until after the autopsy report to issue her death certificate and subsequently hold her funeral.

Meanwhile, Sheree's good friend, producer Raymond Wong, stated that he has yet to get in touch with the actress' family, but will do whatever he can to assist them.

Sheree passed away on 27 May from a sudden heart attack. Although the cause has yet to be exposed, a police source revealed that they have found several medications including diet pills in her home.

She was 47.
