Shin-hye & Yong-hwa too close for comfort

24 June – Fans have been speculating on CNBLUE's Jung Yong-hwa and actress Park Shin-hye's relationship since working on the drama "You're Beautiful" in 2009. However, both celebrities provided an answer for the question during their upcoming drama "Heartstrings" conference on 23 June, citing that they are just close friends, according to Soompi website.

Jung Yong-hwa stated, "I think that topic came up because we're really close friends. I feel comfortable around her, just like I would be with any of my guy friends. I don't have a lot of celebrity friends, and Park Shin-hye is one of them."

Park Shin Hye also replied, "I like Jung Yong-hwa as a friend, but he is not my type. That's because he's type A [blood type]," garnering smiles and laughs from reporters.

The beautiful actress added, "People also thought I was dating Jang Geun-suk, and that rumour started because we were also close friends."

In "Heartstring", singer-actor Jung Yong-hwa will play his first lead role as Lee Shin, a cold-hearted, snobby guitar prodigy. Park Shin-hye stars as Lee Kyu-won, an energetic music student who learns the 'gayageum', a traditional twelve-stringed Korean instrument.

"Heartstrings" also stars Song Chang Ui, So Yi Hyun, Woori, and Kang Min Hyuk of CNBlue.
