UP Shocker: Teacher Thrashed to Death with Iron Rods in Jalaun

Lucknow, September 26: In a shocking incident, a 65-year-old teacher was killed by unidentified assailants on Friday night in Uttar Pradesh's Jalaun. Reports inform that two youths came to the deceased's home around midnight and thrashed him with iron rods and fled the spot. The deceased, identified as Narvada who used to run Math coaching centre, died due to excessive bleeding. The police have launched an investigation to locate and nab the unidentified accused.

According to the reports, the accused arrived at the deceased's home on a bike. Narvada answered their knock on the door and opened it. The accused followed Narvada to the hall and attacked him with iron rods. In the attack, the deceased suffered injuries and collapsed on the floor, following which the assailants fled the spot. The deceased's family members saw him lying in a pool of blood, and he was rushed to the hospital. Narvada was declared brought dead at the hospital, reported the Times of India. On receiving an alert about in the incident, the police along with forensic experts reached the spot. According to a report by TOI, during the preliminary probe it has been found out that the deceased's student have a role in the incident. SP Ravi Kumar told the TOI, "Police are trying to trace the killers with the help of CCTV footage installed in the locality." A similar incident was reported from Delhi last week. A 21-year-old student was arrested from the Ranhola police station area in the national capital for allegedly attacking his school teacher with an iron rod. A case was filed under section 308 of the IPC in the matter.
