‘Shrill’ Stars Aidy Bryant and Lolly Adefope Go Head-to-Head on ‘Expensive Taste Test’
Honestly, who better to try out the first ever Expensive Taste Test battle than the ::chef’s kiss:: stars of Shrill Aidy Bryant and Lolly Adefope?! Yeah, we went there with the battle. The comedy queens went head-to-head as they downed champagne at 10 a.m., tried on some hand sanitizer, and broke their vegetarian diet for pepperoni (sorry not sorry, Aidy!!), all to see who would become the reigning champ.
Lolly, the self-proclaimed “champagne connoisseur,” could literally look at the drinks and immediately tell which one was worth more $$, a skill I only dream of having. And look, knowing the difference between cheap and expensive champagne is one thing, but going into water territory and knowing which costs $0.004 per gallon compared to $16 per gallon (I promise we’re not lying!) is a whooole different story. Aidy seemed pretty confident in this one, as she is the water champ to Lolly’s champs champ.
Cool, then it was time to figure out a couple of hydrating sheet masks. Of course, we didn’t make them try the masks on their faces because makeup is too precious to waste (we’re looking at you, $45 foundations!!). Both Lolly and Aidy agreed that the bologna-like mask was def the cheapest...but, uh, turns out that deli-meat face masks are bougie as f*ck.
We don’t wanna spoil our first ever ETT: Battle for you, so you’re gonna have to hit that video above and wait patiently to see whomst of the Shrill ladies is going to come out on top. I mean, if I’m being honest, we’re really the winners because this video had me fully cackling.
