Silverado Fire in Orange County Moves Toward Houses as It Burns Overnight

Firefighters continued to battle the Silverado Fire in Orange County, California, overnight on October 26 to 27 as the blaze grew to more than 11,000 acres.

Two firefighters have been critically injured as a result of fighting the blaze, which was at 5 percent containment as of October 27.

Many communities were under mandatory evacuation orders, local news reported. This clip, from Albert Evangelista on Instagram, shows the fire close to houses in Foothill Ranch.
