If you’ve ever spent an afternoon drooling while wandering down the picturesque Instagram rabbit hole of Kellogg’s NYC and London’s Cereal Killer Cafe, you’re probably a serial cruncher. And being a cereal buff, you’d be psyched to find out that we’ve now got our own Kellogg’s Cereal Kafe, although it’s located at the not-so-exciting heartland mall of Ang Mo Kio Hub. In the basement auntie paradise that is FairPrice Xtra, which just underwent a revamp to host a Unity store with health, beauty, and lifestyle products.
Open daily from noon to 8pm — meaning you can’t get your cereal fix in the morning, oddly enough — the tiny space is a minimally decorated one, offering a variety of cereals and pastries. Not quite as cool or edgy as its overseas counterparts, but if you’re out and about and really craving just a handful of Froot Loops, it’ll do the trick.
Flavors in the selection include Corn Flakes, Coco Pops, Rice Krispies, Frosties, and Crunchy Oat Granola, and each $2 serving comes with either full cream or low fat milk. You can also get a little fancy and add goji berries, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, or pumpkin seeds ($0.50 each) to your bowl. Cupcakes, muffins, cakes, cookies, and mini bread loaves are available as well.
Kellogg’s Cereal Kafe is at FairPrice Xtra, #B2-40 Ang Mo Kio Hub, 53 Ang Mo Kio Ave 3.
