Singapore has its own user experience design conference this October
The UXSG event will be held from October 1 to October 3, 2014. Tickets are on sale for approximately US$550 for a limited time

All apps, websites and anything tech-related rely a lot on a great user experience, an element that is sometimes taken for granted. As such, conferences focused on user experience designs can be a boon for future enthusiasts and creatives — just like how Casual Connect and Siggraph are for mobile game developers and 3D/2D artists.
Singapore has a gathering for you tech and design buffs out there, in the form of the UXSG event. Here, everyone who has worked on user experience design, user-centered-design, interaction design, and anything similar, will meet up to debate new ideas, and participate in roundtable discussions and workshops focused on the design field.
This year’s event will be held from October 1 to October 3, 2014.
While the venue and speakers have yet to be confirmed, limited-time offer tickets for the event (called the Ultra Excited & Super Garang promotion) are available right now. Instead of paying S$1,000 (approximately US$800), interested parties can now buy a S$700 ticket (approximately US$550), which comes with a custom UXSG shirt, a special pass to beat coffee queues, and priority workshop selection(s).

Speakers of last year’s UXSG event include Apogee Asia Design Researcher Daniel Szuc, Philips Design Global Creative Director Low Cheaw Hwei, and Sarah Bloomer & Co. Principal Consultant Sarah Bloomer. It took place at The Star Performing Arts Centre, and featured talks such as ‘Common sense in user experience designs’ and ‘The impact of tech on retail brand experiences’.
