Singer Sammi Cheng reportedly moved out of her own home, Jacqueline Wong apologises over scandal

Singapore — If you don’t know by now, Hong Kong singer Andy Hui, 51, was ousted by Apple Daily News via a leaked video showing him making out with former Miss Hong Kong runner-up and actress Jacqueline Wong, 30, in a car. Andy is married to singer Sammi Cheng while Jacqueline is dating TVB actor Kenneth Ma.

Apple Daily News reports are saying that Sammi had already moved out from her own home she shares with Andy, and that she does not want to see anyone at present. Her agency has also arranged for her to take a leave of absence so she could take ample of rest and sleep, as the ordeal has been traumatising for her.

Sammi’s fans have reached out to her via her social media pages, expressing support.

Meanwhile, according to Toggle, Jacqueline has released a statement via her manager today (17 April): “She knows that she has made a terrible and huge mistake, and she has let down every single person who has been affected (by the scandal). In particular, she’s sorry to her parents, family, company, and Kenneth Ma.”

Jacqueline has since updated her Instagram page with this post, once again, apologising for her behaviour.

Translation: “Sorry, I did something wrong. I did a very wrong and unforgivable thing. I feel very ashamed and apologetic.

I hereby sincerely apologise to all those who are affected and hurt by the incident. I have been unable to face myself and have no idea how to face my family, Ma Ming, friends, company, colleagues…”

I dare not ask for forgiveness from everyone. I only beg you to give everyone who is implicated a little space.

I seriously reflect on my own mistakes and accept punishment to bear the consequences.

Once again, “I’m sorry everyone.”
