Sky Cinema and NOW TV's September premieres include Terminator: Dark Fate and Judy

The next batch of new movies coming to Sky Cinema and NOW TV have been announced, with September's fare including big blockbusters and Oscar-winning films.

Among the new movies set to keep us entertained next month is The Good Liar, which stars national treasures Helen Mirren and Ian McKellen and lands on September 4.

Following that on September 5 is cop thriller Black and Blue, starring No Time to Die's Naomie Harris and Fast & Furious' Tyrese Gibson, while September 11 will see the arrival of Le Mans '66 – aka Ford vs Ferrari – with Matt Damon and Christian Bale.

Get Out producers Blumhouse's supernatural thriller Don't Let Go follows on September 12, starring David Oyelowo as as detective trying to solve the murder of his niece (played by Storm Reid), while horror Darlin', which sees a feral woman living in the woods brought back to civilisation, arrives on September 15.

Terminator: Dark Fate comes to both NOW TV and Sky Cinema on September 18, with Linda Hamilton returning to the franchise as Sarah Connor.

Following that on September 19 is the John Cena-starring Playing With Fire, which sees the WWE star and actor play a firefighter, as his team takes on its toughest challenge yet – babysitting.

Finally, Judy – which bagged Renee Zellweger her second Oscar earlier this year for her portrayal of Judy Garland – will drop on September 25.

A number of new collections for movie lovers have also been announced, notably Superheroes (September 21-24), which will include big hits such as Avengers: Endgame, Shazam! and Batman.

Every Transformers movie will be brought together in a new collection (September 3-6) for the franchise, while a Lord of the Rings collection (September 18-20) has also been announced, which will include all three movies in Peter Jackson's classic series.

On top of that, you can relive classic musicals such as Grease, A Star is Born, Funny Girl, Evita and Sister Act in the Musicals collection (September 7-17).
