Snapchat and L'Oreal Paris to launch exclusive new 'Gold Obsession' filter

The "Palette Gold" eye shadow palette from the L'Oréal Paris "Gold Obsession" collection completes the "Fatale Extravaganza" makeup look

Snapchat and L'Oreal Paris will join forces to debut an exclusive filter via the social media app next month, in promotion of the beauty giant's new "Gold Obsession" make-up collection.

The filter will debut on October 1, fronted by muses and friends of the brand including models Doutzen Kroes and Irina Shayk, and available to users for 24 hours from October 2 to midnight on October 3.

The launch ties in with Paris Fashion Week, of which L'oreal Paris is a sponsor, and the introduction of the brand's new make-up collection "Gold Obsession".

The filter will allow Snapchat users to decorate their faces in the colours from the "Gold Obsession" collection palette.
