Soccer super agent Mino Raiola dead at 54

Mino Raiola, one of the biggest soccer agents in the game, has died. He was 54.
Raiola's family announced the news in a statement on Twitter.

That statement read:
"In infinite sorrow we share the passing of the most caring and amazing Football Agent that ever was.
"Mino fought until the end with the same strength he put on negotiation tables to defend our players. As usual, Mino made us proud and never realized it.
"Mino touched so many lives through his work and wrote a new chapter in the history of modern football. His presence will forever be missed.
"Mino's mission of making football a better place for players will continue with the same passion.
"We thank everybody for the huge amount of support received during these difficult times and ask for respect to the privacy of family and friends in this moment of grief.

Raiola represented some of the biggest names in the game, including Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba. Raiola oversaw Pogba's return to Manchester United in 2016.
A number of teams, including AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain sent condolences to Raiola's family.

Mino Raiola, charismatic sports agent, passed away today following an illness.

Raiola was admitted to San Raffaele Hospital in Milan in January. He was erroneously reported dead twice since being admitted to the hospital. Raiola was on Twitter as recently as Thursday dispelling a report he was dead.
