Soldier fails to return home after prayers at mosque


KUALA LUMPUR: A soldier disappeared yesterday afternoon after leaving his home at Perdana Camp, Sungai Besi, for asar prayers. Mohammad Helmy Noorsham, 31, was last seen leaving the camp at 5pm. His wife, Nor Afzan Nor Ozman, 31, said it was his routine to perform prayers at the camp mosque, however, he did not return home yesterday. “He told me that he will meet friends after prayers, but failed to return home yesterday. I decided to make a police report last night after his disappearance. “I am worried as does not bring his mobile phone with him whenever he goes to the mosque,” she said when contacted today.
