South Africa's December manufacturing output up 0.4 pct

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - South Africa's manufacturing output rose by 0.4 percent year-on-year in December after contracting by a revised 1.2 percent in November, Statistics South Africa said on Thursday. On a month-on-month basis, factory production was up 1.8 percent, but was down 0.6 percent in the three months to December compared with the previous three months.
