Spencer Matthews and Vogue Williams share baby daughter's cute name
Spencer Matthews and Vogue Williams have revealed that their baby daughter's name, which has remained a well-kept secret until now, is Gigi Margaux Matthews.
The Made in Chelsea star and Irish presenter welcomed their second child last month, having brought son Theodore into the world back in September 2018.
"Life is just wonderful. There really couldn't be more love in our house right now," Spencer told Hello! as he spoke about their new family of four.
"When we were discussing names I thought, 'I want to want her name', and I do. I just love it. I wish I was called it myself," said Vogue.
"We decided on it ages ago and as soon as we saw her, we knew it suited her. She is so perfect. I am obsessed with her."
Spencer added: "I always really liked the name Margaux for a girl, spelt in the French way – like the wine.
"When people ask what she's called I always say Gigi Margaux – like my dad introduces me as Spencer George sometimes. It rolls off the tongue nicely."
Vogue went on to say that Gigi already had an "extensive wardrobe" and hopes that no one will buy her any more baby clothes as she has enough to last her until she's 18-months-old.
Explaining how it was a completely stress-free birth, Spencer said: "Her birth was a wonderful moment that I'll treasure. The whole thing was alarmingly unstressful. It felt like I was going out to get a coffee.
"Don't get me wrong, we share all sorts of wonderful moments where we're just gazing at Gigi adoringly, but it does feel super smooth and straightforward this time."
