Mel C has said she believes Victoria Beckham would rejoin the Spice Girls if they were invited to perform at Glastonbury.

There have been rumours the girlband were in talks to headline the music festival in 2020 before the music festival was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

And Sporty Spice has now said the Wannabe stars are still waiting to be asked to appear at Glastonbury, but if they were she is sure Posh would be on board.

Mel C told the Reign with Josh Smith podcast: "I don't think we've been asked in all honesty, we haven't been asked to do it, but I do believe it could be the thing that would see all five girls on stage. So should we start a petition?"

In 2019 Mel C joined Mel B, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton on a tour of the UK and Ireland. Beckham met the rest of the band prior to the announcement of the live shows, but declined to join them.

Scary Spice announced on stage at their final London show that the band would be taking the tour to Australia the following year.

But the next morning she backtracked, telling 2DayFM Breakfast with Grant, Ed & Ash: “So I announced it on stage, yes, without everybody else signing off 100%.

“I figured if I put it out there then maybe it’s going to happen because I’ve been putting it out there for seven years. London did actually happen after seven years so I figured, Australia in February sounds pretty good to me.”
