I'm obsessed with this spiralizer that turns veggies into noodles — and it's $20 (45% off)

I absolutely love pasta — spaghetti bolognese is one of my favorite dishes! Sadly, however, I've had to cut back on my carb intake to lose weight for health reasons. That's why I decided to invest in a Spiralizer, a unique gadget that turns vegetables into "noodles." It's so much less laborious than using a peeler, or having to slice them up thinly with a knife. Going keto or low-carb has never been so easy! Well, right now this 7-blade version is only $20 — a whopping 45% off its usual price!

With this, you can make faux "spaghetti" or "fettuccine" from vegetables such as zucchini and carrots. You can spiralize everything from potatoes (for a fried snack) to cucumbers (for a fun way to jazz up a salad). Plus, the slicing attachment makes quick work out of shredding cabbage — simply secure the vegetable to the holder and turn the swivel handle. It's that simple!

There are other similar machines on the market, but I love this particular model due to a few unique features. First, it has very strong suction cups, which helps keep it secure on the counter. Second, you can actually store the additional blades right inside!

About those blades: They're high-quality cutlery-grade stainless steel. The unit itself is made out of ultra reinforced ABS plastic. This means that you can even spiralize harder root vegetables like sweet potatoes and turnips without breaking the handle.

As for what you do with those veggie noodles? Why, anything you like! I like to mix zucchini "zoodles" with some ground turkey and store-bought marinara sauce in a pan for an easy weeknight meal. One of the benefits of these veggie noodles over regular pasta is that they cook up in no time, without the need to dirty up another pan.

One five-star review on Amazon says it's easy and effective: "We started to cook a lot more with zucchini noodles and other vegetables. I started with a manual handheld tool but it was such a pain in the a$$ that we rarely used. This machine makes it so easy that we cook with vegetables significantly more now.... This was a great purchase, and I have recommended to other friends."

"This is one of those rare items that makes you realize how good well-designed products can be," said another happy customer. "I bought one of the small versions first, the kind you hold in one hand as you use the other hand to twist a vegetable through. It worked, but it had a couple of frustrating aspects. I know there was potential, so I sprang for this more expensive spiralizer and I'm glad I did. It truly could not work better."
