The revamped version of the Ssangyong Rexton, which they fondly called the 2020.5 Rexton, sports upgrades to better appreciate the model offering.
SsangYong Philippines President Japheth Castillo expressed excitement over the introduction of the updated Rexton.

The flagship model for the brand wears a new honeycomb grille design, accentuated by the Titanium Gray headlight bezel color.
Aside from that, the noticeable changes for the updated SsangYong Rexton are that it offers a sixth color option, which is the Marble Gray. This adds to the current available hues Atlantic Blue, Fine Silver, Grand White, and Space Black.
SsangYong Philippines stated that the new metallic shade “creates a more exclusive color option for those who wish to remain distinct while reservedly less ostentatious on the road.”
The 4x4 trim of the Rexton still wears the Premium Brown Stitching quilted leather interiors that it is quite known for. The latest on the said model is that the 4x2 variant now has seat ventilation for both front occupants (driver and passenger).
To elevate the level of elegance, the revamped version now has smart key fob that offers new functions such as headlamp activation and remote tailgate operation.
While it adds more features, it retains its no-nonsense attributes such as the eight-inch Touchscreen Infotainment system matched to six speakers and the 220-volt outlet perfect for plugging in small convenience appliances or chargers for long drives.
With a P 1.76 million base price, the latest iteration of the SsangYong Rexton is being offered with a Free 5-year Preventive Maintenance along with its existing 5-Year Vehicle Warranty which covers oil, parts and labor for each of the scheduled PMS intervals for the next 5 years, or up to 100,000-kilometers, whichever comes first.
