#StandForKeith: Police officers and politicians post heartfelt tributes to Pc Keith Palmer on day of his funeral
Policemen and politicians have honoured the heroic officer who stood in the path of Khalid Masood on the day of the Westminster terror attack, and lost his life while protecting Parliament from the knifeman.
On the day of Pc Keith Palmer's funeral, many have taken to social media to express their gratitude for his service and sorrow about his death.
Police officers have said they were proud to wear the same uniform as Pc Palmer, and posted pictures of themselves on the way to the funeral, which will be held at Southwark Cathedral today.
Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, also expressed his sympathies.

Thousands are expected to attend the funeral, which is to be followed by a private cremation.
His former colleague of eight years PC Shaun Cartright told Sky News: "If you could paint a picture of a perfect policeman you'd be painting a picture of Keith Palmer.
"(He's) One of the kindest people you will ever find. Very giving, very loyal, a true friend and a fantastic policeman."

Police forces from around the country are to attend the service, and Virgin Trains is providing free travel to all policemen coming to London to pay their respects.
Four other innocent people were killed and dozens of others injured in the 82-second atrocity on Wednesday March 22, which ended with Masood being shot dead.
Andreea Cristea, 31, Leslie Rhodes, 75, Kurt Cochran, 54, and Aysha Frade, 44, died after he ploughed into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge.
