Star Cinema to produce prequel to "Four Sisters and a Wedding"
28 Feb – Star Cinema is set to produce the prequel to their hit 2013 movie, "Four Sisters and a Wedding".
As reported on ABS-CBN News, the studio revealed on Thursday that the new movie will be titled "Four Sisters Before the Wedding" and will star Alexa Ilacad as Bobbie, Gillian Vicencio as Alex, Charlie Dizon as Teddie, and Belle Mariano as Gabbie.
However, Cathy Garcia-Molina will not return to the director's seat and instead will be replaced by Giselle Andres.
The original movie starred Bea Alonzo, Angel Locsin, Toni Gonzaga, and Shaina Magdayao as Bobbi, Alex, Teddie, and Gabbie, respectively. The story revolves around the four Salazar sisters and their scheme in trying to save their only brother (played by Enchong Dee) from marrying the woman of his dreams after meeting the bride's family.
The prequel will reportedly be set ten years before the original movie and will show how the relationship and conflict among the four sisters came about.
