Meet the eight startups who pitched for a chance to join Startupbootcamp FinTech’s acceleration programme

Last week, Startupbootcamp FinTech held an inaugural FastTrack pit stop in Bangkok, Thailand, hosted by CIMB Thai Bank.

The one-day event was open to early-stage startups specialising in fintech and looking for expert advice, mentorship and exposure.

We take a look at the eight startups who pitched for a chance to be selected as one of 10 (from FastTrack’s tour of 16 locations in the Asia Pacific) to take part in Startupbootcamp FinTech’s three-month accelerator programme in Singapore in 2016:

AppMan Co. Ltd.

AppMan is the developer of AgentMate, a mobile office solution for insurance agents, which helps an insurance agent by processing insurance applications through mobile devices, making the agent’s operations paperless.

Far Horizon Capital Inc.

Incorporations.IO, a corporate services marketplace backed by the venture firm Far Horizon Capital Inc., aims to help aspiring entrepreneurs incorporate their businesses without fuss. It also offers a built-in Known Your Customer (KYC) approval system for clients.

Investment Technology

The private wealth management platform and investment marketplace for retail investors has developed Wealth Advisor, which uses technology to make private wealth management accessible to everyone. They have partnered with a broker company to make the platform a one-stop service for buying and selling of investment products

OhMyGeorge

A trading app for dummies, OhmyGeorge’s proprietary trading interface allows people to learn how to play the financial markets through a game.

Midaz Reserve

A blockchain development asset digitization company specializing in bitcoin 2.0 infrastructure. Midaz Reserve is a multi-assets crypto wallet application allowing investing, trading, and transacting of digital assets over blockchain.

The primary asset is MRCoin, designed to allow customers to acquire and trade physical gold through a smartphone.

Gold is stored in secure, fully-insured third-party custodian vaults with proof of custody available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Plizz

An online accounting solution, Plizz is targeted at SMEs. Plizz’s clients receive full and secured access to their accounting data in real time, with clear and competitive pricing.

Pymlo Pte. Ltd.

Pymlo provides a SaaS accounting system which simplifies the accounting process and complies with regulations and taxation of major Asian countries. Customers, with no accounting experience, are able to directly manage their own finances cost-efficiently.

SetScope

SETScope is a web/app platform that picks best stocks based on in-built metrics. It also notify the user changes to the quality of a stock immediately.
