State Govt committed to boosting industrial development: CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan) Aug 17 (ANI): In a review meeting of the Industries Department through video conference, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the State Government is working with commitment to speed up industrial development in all the districts of the State. The Chief Minister said that according to the budget announcement, the work of developing industrial areas in 147 subdivisions should be completed expeditiously to promote industries in the state so that the target of setting up industrial areas in all the sub-divisions of Rajasthan can be achieved. CM underlined that Bhiwadi industrial area is very important from the point of view of investment due to its proximity to NCR and Delhi. He also announced a budget of Rs 100 crore for its development. He also directed to complete the work of the convention centre to be built there within 12 months. The CM said that electricity, water and land acquisition are the basic requirements for industrial development. He directed that the Chief Secretary should prepare an action plan for meeting these needs after meeting with the officers of the concerned departments.
