Stephanie Ho: Just let TVB resolve boycott matters
20 Jul – Hong Kong singer Stephanie Ho recently stated that she will accept any decision made by TVB regarding its artistes, following the recent clash between the broadcaster and the anti-extradition bill protesters.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who was asked about CEO Mark Lee Po On's recent memo slamming certain protesters for causing harm and damages to TVB's journalists and news vehicle, stated that she did receive the notice but didn't know details about the incident.
"I just hope that everybody can be calm and rational. I am not worried about the impact it has on our work or about our safety. I believe the company will arrange something," she said.
Stephanie added that everybody is playing their part to help resolve the matter.
When asked to share her own views about the company's direction and position in the issue, the singer said that it is not something that she can control.
"We are just playing our part as the employees and have less power of decision than the people above," she said.
