Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw’s daughter Mikaela has opened up about why she’s chosen to pursue a new career as an adult entertainer.

In a candid interview with The Sun, the 23-year-old explained that she had begun to get “really tired of not being able to capitalise on [her] body” and that constantly being told that she should “hate” it played a big part in her wanting to use it in her work.

“I just got tired of working day to day in a way that wasn’t satisfying my soul,” she added. “I feel like doing this kind of work, I’m able to ‘satisfy’ other people, but that feels good because it’s not in a way that makes me feel violated.”

Mikaela went on to say that she’s already started producing solo porn films herself and that she aspires to get into exotic dancing, too.

"I can't stay dependent on my parents or even the state for that matter – not that there's anything wrong with that – it just doesn't feel comfortable for me,” she said, noting that her family are “not upset” about her future plans.

Throughout the on-camera chat, Mikaela also claimed that she was abused by people outside of her family when she was younger, which has had a confusing, “long-lasting impact” on her relationship with sexuality and her body.

“I suffered a lot of grooming,” she recalled. “I feel like the abuse I went through wasn’t super intense, but it had me questioning “What is my body? What is it to have a body and exist in a body safely? Also, what is it to be an emotional human being and not have it taken advantage of?”
