‘Stock up on water & charge your gadgets’ — Russian attack causes emergency shutdowns in Kryvyi Rih

Critical infrastructure targets were hit in Kryvyi Rih as Russia ramped up its attack on Ukraine with a barrage of drone, cruise, and ballistic missile strikes early on March 22, Kryvyi Rih Mayor Oleksandr Vilkul reported on Telegram.

"We're seeing a mixed bag of enemy missile attacks and drone strikes,” Vilkul wrote.

“Critical infrastructure has been hit. Where possible, folks should stock up on water and get their gadgets and power banks charged up."

The city has implemented emergency power shutdown schedules, he added. Hospitals and other essential services are switching to generators where possible.
