In addition to STORM Technologies, TOP100 Philippine Qualifier Roadshow also named Enguest as winner of the Fan Favourite category

Philippine-based HR Tech startup STORM Technologies has come out as the winner of the Judges’ Choice category in the Echelon Top100 Philippines Qualifier Roadshow, co-organised by e27 and QBO Innovation Hub.

The startup is set to receive S$3,000 (US$2,200)-worth of prizes that include an exhibition space and pitching slot at Echelon Asia Summit 2018, which is set to be held in Singapore in June 28-29, 2018.

It will also get six-month worth of hot desk in any WeWork space in Southeast Asia, and S$500 reimbursement.

STORM Technologies provides innovative Human Resources solutions that helps companies manage their benefits and incentives systems, among others.

Philippine companies typically have standard benefits across different types of employees, but STORM Technologies claims that using their platform would help companies personalise their benefits structure, making it an effective tool for better employee attraction, retention, and engagement.

The competition also named Enguest as winner in the Fan Favourite category, chosen based on audiences’ vote on Facebook. The startups provides hotels with a platform to digitalise their guest services communication and capture data for better guest experience.

The startups were being judged by a panel consisting of Paul Meyers of muru-D, Nadia Fonny of Gobi Partners, Jojo Flores of Launchgarage, Dan Siazon of Kickstart Ventures, and Butch Meily of Ideaspace and QBO.

They were being chosen based on problem and solution, market, revenue model, team, and the quality of their pitch during the event.

According to Flores, STORM Technologies was chosen as winner for displaying significant traction, as well as having a solid product and team.
