Strictly Come Dancing awards first 10s of 2024 series
Strictly Come Dancing has awarded its first 10s of the 2024 series, with stars Tasha Ghouri and Aljaž Škorjanec receiving not just one, but three 10s.
Tonight's episode (October 12) saw Tasha and Aljaž dance a Charleston to 'Unhealthy' by Anne-Marie and Shania Twain, basing their routine on the theme of the popular music festival Coachella.
After performing their Week 4 routine, Tasha and Aljaž went to the judges for their opinions. Motsi Mabuse said of the performance: "One word, FABULOUS."

"What a night, what a way to end the show, truly professional, I can't fault it, well done," Shirley Ballas said.
"It was practically perfect," said Anton Du Beke, while Craig Revel Horwood said: "Your feet missed two swivels. But you know what, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G."
While waiting for the results, Tasha said of performing last in tonight's show: "I think it was just trying to keep the energy up throughout and this dance has been really hard to keep the performance up, but I loved it. This time I thought forget the nerves, just dance it, have fun."

As Tasha's mum watched on, the couple received their scores: a 9 from Craig, a 10 from Motsi, a 10 from Shirley (earning this year's first "it's never too early for that 10 from Shirley") of the series, and a 10 from Anton. Their score of 39 placed them at the top of the leaderboard.
Meanwhile, the latest show also saw a return to the competition from TV handyman Nick Knowles, who missed last week's show after suffering a knee injury during rehearsals.
Nick returned for Week 4 where he and pro dance partner Luba Mushtuk performed their Movie Week song - a Charleston to 'Rain On The Roof' from Paddington 2, which turned out to have a special meaning for one of the judges.
During judging, it was revealed that Craig Revel Horwood had created the choreography for the routine in the actual movie.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
