Strictly's Dianne issues statement after re-watching launch show
Strictly Come Dancing's Dianne Buswell has shared a heartwarming post after re-watching the 2024 season's launch show.
The professional dancer, who is paired with Chris McCausland this year, shared a brief clip from this year's first episode to her Instagram account, showcasing her dancing with the comedian.
In her caption, she praised Chris for the improvement he's made over the weeks, writing: "I re watched the launch show on my way into work today and It made me smile with pride.

"Sometimes when you're constantly working with the same person daily you forget about how it started and how far they have come! So just a little appreciation post to my incredible partner you are doing an amazing job!"
"You are both amazing!!" commented former contestant Gemma Atkinson, while fellow pro Carlos Gu wrote: "Sista, you have no idea you've changed and elevated so much of what show about with Us pro, you are a star! Xx".
Dancer Amy Dowden, who recently withdrew from competing in this year's show alongside JB Gill, also commented, writing, "You're doing the most incredible job and both utter joy to watch! Love you xxx".

Meanwhile, dancer Amy has spoken out about having to withdraw from the competition due to an insufficiency stress fracture on her shin.
She explained that she was "absolutely gutted" to not be able to compete again this series, but expressed her hope that she could be able to get back to performing in the group dances by the end of the current run.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
