Strong Wind From Tropical Storm Molave Bends Trees in Philippines

Tropical Storm Molave, known locally as Quinta, brought strong winds and heavy flooding to parts of the Philippines on Sunday, October 25.

The storm lashed several areas in the archipelago including Metro Manila, Laguna, the Calabarzon region and the island province of Catanduanes.

Molave was tracking west on Sunday, information from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) stated.

Footage shows winds lashing the Biri region in the province of Northern Samar.

“‘QUINTA’ is forecast to continue moving generally westward until its landfall over the Catanduanes-Albay-Sorsogon area this afternoon or evening,” a PAGASA alert issued on Sunday read. Credit: @ayalajanegrace via Storyful
